I'm so excited and I just can't hide it

So as most of you know I have a passion for crocheting. I have made dozens of Afghans and I have recently started experimenting with other things like wraps, poncho's and scarfs. I normally make things and give them away, but I have been given an awesome opportunity to sell some of my creations at Stitching it Up. Stitching it Up is a super cute fabric store that is located on main street next to Holmes Barber Shop.

I am currently selling a dang cute scarf for $20.00. It can be made in any color and is machine washable and dryer safe. I am selling it for about half the price of other scarfs like it. I can have them made and sent to you in a day or two or you can pick one up at Stitching it Up.

Happy Halloween

This year like every year before was tons of fun on Halloween. The only difference this year being that Ty was finally old enough to do his own trick or treating.

Ty (as IronMan) with his good buddy Talon Gray

Megan as Jasmine and Kaitlyn as Sharpi from HSM 3 (not to be confused with Sharpi from HSM 1 that she was last year).
Hitting the Schank's house for a little trick or treating. I think that Wayne and I......I mean the kids hit the jack pot this year with candy. We only did two streets and all three buckets were filled to the rim with candy.

Tinkerbell

A few weeks ago Wayne and I noticed that Tink wasn't looking so good. I took her to the Vet and he said that she had a virus and gave me an antibiotic to give to her for 7 days. Two day into it I noticed hundreds of little bumps on her, so again we headed to the Vet and she was treated for ticks. I was told that the frontline given to her would kill the ticks by the weekend. The weekend came and nothing was happening. I decided to take matters into my own hands and spent 2 hours combing and picking ticks off of Tink. Our poor Tink just wasn't getting better. After 3 weeks of hand feeding, bathing and worrying we made the decision to let her go.

We found Tink 2 years ago in our backyard starving and probably scared. We feel in love with her the minute we saw her. She was a feisty kitten who loved to climb trees and chase mice, birds and bugs. She often would leave her kills in the garage so we could see them. She loved being held and cuddled. She was very patient and would let a very young 2 year old Ty "hold" her as long as he wanted without trying to get away. She was the perfect pet and she will be missed dearly.

I wonder sometimes

I made a post a while back when I found Kaitlyn asleep on the hearth. I didn't think she could top it, but she did.

Happy Birthday x 2

On the 15th we celebrated Kaitlyn and Ty's birthday's. Kaitlyn turned 6 and Ty was turning 3 on Saturday. We decided to have a Halloween birthday party. Kaitlyn and Ty both invited some friends and I think we had about 12 kids here. I don't think I could have done with out Wayne by my side, so I am publicly thanking him now.

Both Kaitlyn and Ty got dress ups for their birthday presents from mom and dad. Kaitlyn was Sharpi from HSM 3 (not to be confused with Sharpi from HSM 1 that she was last year). Ty was Iron Man. Megan decided to be Barbie Island Princess and I decided to join in all the dress up fun and was a princess too.As the kids arrived we had them make their own Halloween candy necklaces. Which ended up being harder to some then others. They enjoyed pizza served by Chef Ratatouille (Wayne). And to finish it off with ice cream and cake.
After they had their fill Kaitlyn and Ty opened up their presents. Then the Chef was attacked by the little people until their parents came to collect them.

It was a great birthday!!!

Wizards of Waverly Place

So I joined a group called houseparties.com. You apply to throw parties center around certain things like pizza, barbie, or shows that are going to be on tv and they provide all the party favors for free. Well I applied for a Wizards of Weaverly Place party because I know that Megan and Kaitlyn love it. Our application was accepted and the girls were so excited.

We sent out our email invitations and waited for the box of party favor. The party was suppose to be at 7:00 pm the night of the movie premier, but for some odd reason Bresnan wasn't showing it until 9:0o pm. I knew that was going to be to late to have a bunch of 10-5 year old girls over at the house. So we planned to have a brunch the next morning instead. We had all the girls come in their pj's and bring there pillows and blankets. I made waffles and pancakes with bacon and oj for breakfast. Then we headed down to the "theater" room. While the girls got comfy I stated the Wizard of Waverly Place movie.
Everyone is nice and comfy

During the show all the girls got their toes painted too!

It was such a cute show. After the movie was done each of the girls got a Wizards of Weaverly Place bag, spell book, fruit by the foot, a Hawaiian lay and a cd with the soundtrack on it

I think it was a big hit and I can't wait to do it again.

I'm only a couple months late

I have been really bad at keeping our blog updated and will try to do better. But here it is only a couple months late.
Kaitlyn started Kindergarten this year and was lucky enough to have Mrs. Werber as her teacher. She also was excited to find out that one of her best buds Easton was in her class. We spent the day before picking out the perfect outfit. The day of she was so excited that she woke up at 7:30 am and got dressed just to wait 5 more hours until school started.

When it was finally time we drove down early to take some first day of school pictures.

Here is Kaitlyn and Easton standing outside the classroom.

Kaitlyn signing in.

Kaitlyn was excited to find her name on the rug and that Easton sits right next to her.

She had a great first day and later that night found out that she and her sister and brother all had the chicken pox. She missed the next several days. She hasn't missed a day since.
