I'm so excited and I just can't hide it

So as most of you know I have a passion for crocheting. I have made dozens of Afghans and I have recently started experimenting with other things like wraps, poncho's and scarfs. I normally make things and give them away, but I have been given an awesome opportunity to sell some of my creations at Stitching it Up. Stitching it Up is a super cute fabric store that is located on main street next to Holmes Barber Shop.

I am currently selling a dang cute scarf for $20.00. It can be made in any color and is machine washable and dryer safe. I am selling it for about half the price of other scarfs like it. I can have them made and sent to you in a day or two or you can pick one up at Stitching it Up.

Happy Halloween

This year like every year before was tons of fun on Halloween. The only difference this year being that Ty was finally old enough to do his own trick or treating.

Ty (as IronMan) with his good buddy Talon Gray

Megan as Jasmine and Kaitlyn as Sharpi from HSM 3 (not to be confused with Sharpi from HSM 1 that she was last year).
Hitting the Schank's house for a little trick or treating. I think that Wayne and I......I mean the kids hit the jack pot this year with candy. We only did two streets and all three buckets were filled to the rim with candy.

Tinkerbell

A few weeks ago Wayne and I noticed that Tink wasn't looking so good. I took her to the Vet and he said that she had a virus and gave me an antibiotic to give to her for 7 days. Two day into it I noticed hundreds of little bumps on her, so again we headed to the Vet and she was treated for ticks. I was told that the frontline given to her would kill the ticks by the weekend. The weekend came and nothing was happening. I decided to take matters into my own hands and spent 2 hours combing and picking ticks off of Tink. Our poor Tink just wasn't getting better. After 3 weeks of hand feeding, bathing and worrying we made the decision to let her go.

We found Tink 2 years ago in our backyard starving and probably scared. We feel in love with her the minute we saw her. She was a feisty kitten who loved to climb trees and chase mice, birds and bugs. She often would leave her kills in the garage so we could see them. She loved being held and cuddled. She was very patient and would let a very young 2 year old Ty "hold" her as long as he wanted without trying to get away. She was the perfect pet and she will be missed dearly.
