So, finally an update

It has been since before Christmas that I have updated my blog and instead of doing many posts to catch up I am just going to do one BIG post.
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. I had a fabulous birthday where the kids took me to see The Lighting Thief (my treat). Wayne and I got back together in March and moved in with his family out in the glorious land of Goshen. Easter was also fantastic! The Easter Bunny was very nice this year. I am still working for Subway as a quality control manager and enjoying most of the time. Wayne is still currently looking for employment, but is thoroughly loving being a SAHD.
Megan was baptized on Feb. 6th. It was one of the best days of my life. She is the greatest big sister to Kaitlyn and Ty and an amazing friend to her cousins. She is loving being around her cousins, but is missing her Cedar friends. She often tells me stories of things she and her friends did in Cedar. She is enjoying achievement days and just had her first Daddy/daughter date and won 3rd place in the powder puff pine wood derby with her cousin Courtney.Kaitlyn is her usual happy silly self. She is doing great in school and is also loving being around her cousins. She too is missing her best buddies Easton and Cole and can't wait until our next trip down south. Kaitlyn just had a procedure called a nuclear sanitises this past week to see if her kidney reflux had heal over this past year. It took two hours, but she was sedated and doesn't remember a thing. The results of the procedure were a little surprising. We found out that not only has her left kidney reflux stayed the same, but that she also has reflux on the right side. Our next step is to visit Dr. White at Primary Children's to see if she will need surgery to fix it.
Ty is getting bigger and bigger it seems each day. He is loving all the time he has had with his dad. They have become nearly inseparable. He has become quite the little gamer and loves playing his spider man game. He has also enjoyed riding the horses and the 4 - wheelers. He recently had his tonsils and adnoid out and has been sleeping in until nearly 10:00 am every morning. He also has become a talker and says some of the cutest things I have ever heard. He lets me know every day that I am his and he is mine.
Just last night we took the kids to their first AMA Supercross race. We had pretty good seats and we had great stadium food and were nice and warm. Then the rain came. It rained from the start of the first race a got worse as the night progressed. The kids did great up until the last 15 min. We got to see our favorite rider Kevin Windham win the race. By the end of the night we were soaked to the bone and very cold, but it made for a great family memory that we will never forget.
