Yesterday Wayne took me, Kaitlyn and Ty with him to Circleville to spray some stuff on a bridge that he helped manage/build for Schmit Construction. As we were driving through some of the valleys on the way over and then through Cedar Breaks on the way home we were talking about how after 10 years of Wayne living in Utah he is still in awe of the scenery. I on the other had have become a little desensitized by all the beauty that surrounds us, it just doesn't effect me the same way. This morning I was looking at my dad's blog of all the pictures he has taken on his many weekend four-wheeler trips. As I was looking at them some of them give me that "awe" feeling that Wayne and I were talking about yesterday. After looking at a few I realized that some of my favorite pictures that my dad has taken were all taken here in Utah. So in conclusion of all my ramblings I have decided that even though I have lived here most of my life I shouldn't take it for granted. I need to become more adventurous and explore my surroundings more often. And work on getting that "awe" feeling back.
I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures that my dad has taken. Let me remind you these were all taken right here in our own back yard

Your Dad is a great Photographer. I would never pay another professional to take your kids pictures, just take them to visit your dad!
Those are beautiful! I long for the Mountains of Utah and the gorgeous landscape!! Can't wait top live there again. your Dad is very good. We should have him do the next set of family pictures!
Absolutely beautiful. I have lived all over the country and I think Utah has some of the most rugged, awe inspiring vistas. I always think this when I drive home from St. George around 6 p.m. The way the light plays with that landscape gives me chills everytime. Your Dad is an incredible photographer.
beautiful pics! At first I though they were internet pictures! WOW!!

I too thought they looked like internet pictures. They are gorgeous pictures. Does he frame his photographs and hang them everywhere? I sure would. He is truly talented and I agree, we do live in a very beautiful and awe inspiring state.
Gorgeous! we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
